Catholic Men's Fellowship

TRANSFORMING THE MAN - HIS FAMILY - HIS COMMUNITY
Vision - We are committed men, principally Catholic, who recognize our need for God's help. We gather in Christ's presence in an atmosphere of trust, equality and anonymity to share personal feelings and experiences. We unconditionally accept one another and prayerfully support one another.

Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Parish Office Building, 222 S. West St.

Come join us in fellowship to socialize, pray, and praise God while growing and sharing our faith through support and encouragement.

Endowment Committee

The Endowment Committee oversees the investment and distribution of the endowment monies that are used for the St. Rose school technology needs, scholarships and teacher salaries.

St. Rose Service League

The St. Rose Service League is an organization open to any interested parishioner of any age. Our primary function is to be of service to the parish as needed and requested.

Usual service duties include, but are not limited to, the following;

1. Offer funeral meals for those parish families requesting them. Includes shopping, preparing, serving and clean-up needed in accordance with the menu as selected by the family. (Cost is limited to the price of the food plus small gratuity for table service)

2. Provide a Christmas Bazaar in early December for the children of St. Rose School, allowing them the opportunity to shop for useful but inexpensive gifts for their family members. This includes gift wrapping and labeling each gift.

3. Construct holiday gift bags of personal items for parishioners of St. Rose living in nursing homes or who are house bound, in accordance with the shut-in list provided by the church office.

4. Prepare and serve refreshments for various church and school social functions as needed and/or requested.
(i.e. Fr. Dave's birthday bash, etc.)

Last year the League collected and/or provided items for holiday gift bags for each of the service persons being treated at the Dayton Veteran's Hospital, and are planning to do this again in the spring.

In the previous year the League organized a project to collect and send approximately 75 boxes of needed toiletries to soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

Anyone interested in joining the Service League is urged to call the parish office for more information.
